Boronia absolute oil is obtained from the blossoming flowers of Boronia Megastigma and smells just like them. Perfumers cherish it for its complex notes. The aroma of boronia absolute oil is fruity, fresh, and green and floral notes will remind you of jasmine or champaca. The Boronia plant is native to Australia however is now cultivated in various other regions making it easier to source its absolute oil. Along with perfumery, boronia absolute oil is also used to make various aromatherapy and skincare products like bath bombs, lotions, body gels etc. 

Boronia is a small plant that grows up to 6-7 feet and bears beautiful and aromatic flowers. Interestingly, boronia leaves are also highly aromatic but they are very delicate and fragile, making it difficult to extract oil. The flowers are reddish brown with the undertones varying from region to region. 

Boronia absolute oil has natural compounds like Beta-Ionone, Boronol, Neryl Acetate and Indole which are responsible for its signature aroma.
