Kewda Absolute Overview
Kewda absolute is an exotic floral absolute oil from the land of Maharajas. It is extracted from the flowers of Pandanus odoratissimus plant that is native to India. It has long and spiky leaves that are celebrated for their aromatic properties. Kewda or kewra leaves and flowers have been traditionally used to create kewda water which is then used for culinary purpose. The highly exotic and fragrant nature of this plant make is suitable to extract concrete for perfumery.
Kewda absolute has predominately a floral and exotic aroma. There are also hints of sweetness and some fruity undertones. You can relate it to some citrusy fruits with some exotic hints to it. It is a great option to make any fragrance more intricate, sensual, floral, and tropical.
